Diane from apex images www.apeximages.com came over and shot some of my work the other day and she did such a wonderful job I had to post some pics. Thanks Diane!
So, I have decided to venture into sunglasses. I have been thinking about it for some time and actually made some today. I made two pair, posted on etsy, and one sold in less than one hour! So, I went back to the studio and made two more! Of course now it is 11:10 and I totally loose track of time when I'm in there. I thought it was 9:00!
I figure when something sells that quickly I should make more...so if you like 'em stay tuned.
I guess my mind is on spring! I sat down at the bench today and here is what came out. The back is the silver silhouette of the flowers from the front. Nothing like pink & girly for spring!
I just created this one today. I love Alexander Henry fabrics and I just happened to have a bunch of this Tattoo Flash and decided to use it in a pendant. It is oxidized copper & brass riveted together. If I wasn't going to try and sell her I'd keep her for myself:)
As a part of Etsy Metals March "underwear" challenge I created a pair of silver panties. The green design inside is floral cotton fabric that has been coated with modge podge for longevity. This was a really fun project! I love going outside the norm of what I would usually do and I have to say, without the Etsy Metals challenge I doubt I would have made undies! I have a variety of pictures on my flickr site, check it out!
I'm a designer and artist mainly working in metal. I also love found objects, knitting, sewing, painting and really any materials I can get my hands on! I'm a member of Denver Etsy and Etsy Metals and my work can be found on Flickr. Check out the links to my groups and other sites.
